The Fairlanes first formed in 1985 as "Luverne and The Fairlanes" with Mark on guitar, Chris Carroll on bass ,Kevin Wilson on keys,Garry Collins on drums & Cheryl Luteman on vocals.......      .this initial version of the band lasted only a few months. We added new drummer(the late,great)   ,Paul McCormick and vocalist, Cindy Harris,and starting gigging quite a bit. Paul left to play in the 'Blue Note Special' with Danny Morris, so we gave it a breakWe were still looking for the right combination,and Chris left to go on the road for a year with a rock band. In '87 I decided  to start singing a lot more and Chris was back in town........to be continued!
